Terms & Conditions IJT VACATIONS makes arrangements with wholesalers , airlines and other independent suppliers to provide the services and accommodations in connection with your vacation. IJT VACATIONS, its associates or affiliated partners, their agents, servants and employees, shall not be liable for any claims as a result of injury, damage, loss, delay or expense arising out of the actions or omissions of these wholesalers, airlines independent suppliers providing services including, but not limited, to transportation, hotel, food or sightseeing services over whom we have no direct control. In the unlikely event you should have a dispute with any supplier, we will do our best to assist in resolving the matter. Please understand that we cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage, delay or inconvenience, whether physical or emotional, resulting from factors beyond our control including but not limited to Acts of God, weather, mechanical breakdowns, labor disputes or strikes, disturbances, sickness, pilferage, quarantine, acts of terrorism, government actions or the failure of any aircraft, or other means of transportation to depart or arrive as scheduled, or for your failure to obtain valid documents or your failure to follow instructions. Travel insurance Travel insurance is available and highly recommended. Making your reservation ONCE YOU HAVE BOOKED TOUR RESERVATION WITH IJT VACATIONS a deposit of $200.00 per person will be due within 7 days after booking. Additional deposit may be required based on the time bookings are made. Upon receipt of your deposit your tentative booking becomes a confirmed reservation. Payment in full is due 45 days prior to departure. Bookings made less than 45 days before departure require payment in full. Acceptable forms of payment: (1) certified check, money order or cash (2) credit cards: master card,visa, discover, american express, debit cards with visa/master card logos. Mail payments to: IJT Vacations 819 N. Pine Hills Road Orlando, FL 32808 *Documents will be shipped via first class mail. For express documents a $20.00 fedex fee will be applied. Late bookings Bookings made 14 days or less before departure will incur a $25 fee to cover additional expenses to process reservation and expedite documents. Revisions/Changes/Refunds Revisions, Changes and Refunds will adhere to the guidelines of the respective Tour Operator, Wholesaler or Air Carrier. Cancellations policy 46 days or more prior to departure - $50.00 per person 22-45 days prior to departure - $150.00 per person 0-21 days prior to departure - $200.00 per person *Additional charges/penalties will be in accordance to that instituted by the wholesales/airlines utilized by IJT Vacations. Hotel penalties often apply, and the amount varies by hotel. Cancellation penalties may vary depending on travel dates and hotel, due to certain hotel cancellation policies and airfare tariffs. Penalties up to the full amount paid may apply over holidays, peak periods and promotional sales. Cancellation insurance is highly recommended. Entry requirements U.S. citizens must present one of the following items at airport check-in as proof of citizenship: valid passport, naturalization papers, certified copy or original birth certificate with photo identification. The airline cannot board any passenger who fails to provide proper documentation. Unfortunately, we will be unable to make any refund due to your failure to bring the proper documentation. Entry requirements vary by island destination and may change over time. If unsure about required documentation please call our office at 1-888-600-8087. Baggage allowance Airline policy varies per carrier. Normal allowance is 2 checked pieces per passenger weighing 70 lbs ea. Plus acceptable sized carry-on. Responsibility ISLAND JEWEL TRAVEL is a full service travel agency dba IJT VACATIONS, and an independent contractor, which makes arrangements with third party vendors(wholesalers & tour operators) for all tour and package services and accommodations, including air transportation. IJT VACATIONS is not an agent of the customer, or of other parties providing travel-related services. All travel documents are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by such vendors. Neither IJT VACATIONS nor any of its agents or employees, shall be held liable for, and by accepting these documents customer waives any claim against all such parties for, a) any loss of or damage to property or injury to any person caused by reason of any defect, negligence, or other wrongful act of omission of, or any failure of performance of any kind by any other transportation company, vendor or supplier; b) any inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, mental distress or other similar matter; c) any delayed departure, missed connections, substitutions of accommodations, termination of service, or changes in fares and rates; and d) any cancellation or double booking of reservations or tickets beyond the control of IJT VACATIONS. In no event shall IJT VACATIONS be responsible for any amount other than the price paid by the customer for the tour or package. IJT VACATIONS reserves the right to accept, decline, retain or remove any person as a member of the tour or package program at any time. Each customer agrees that all disputes in any matters whatsoever arising in connection with the responsibility of IJT VACATIONS or their air carrier under this Agreement shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida, and each customer consents to jurisdiction before a court located in the state of Florida, USA, to the exclusion of the courts in any other state or country.
